KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations across the North of Scotland.

• Follow route and time schedule.

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.

• Complete logs and reports.

• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

• Ensure any company vehicle allocated is fit for purpose.

• Deal with customers’ queries and ensure these are passed to the relevant person for completion.

Warehouse duties when not delivering;

• Pick/pack customer and warehouse orders.

• Assist loading company vehicles with orders.

*May be required to carry out additional tasks which are appropriate to the post.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Full UK driving license – preferably clean.

• License to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles with DCPC (desirable but not essential).

• Numeracy and literacy skills to enable completion of paperwork.

• Flexibility to work additional hours when required by the company.

• Good customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.

• Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.

• Ability to work within and contribute to a team.

• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
