Showroom Team Leader

Job description

We are currently seeking a Showroom Team Leader for our busy Showroom. The candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service with team management skills. You will provide support to the showroom manager, organising stock and assisting with displays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the manager with people management, product merchandising and the safety & security of the showroom.
  • Manage the department when the line manager is absent.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers.
  • Deliver excellent presentation standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Review, record and resolve customer complaints.
  • Ensure the stock file is kept accurate.
  • Ensure price labels are replaced regularly in line with price changes and stock rotation is done where necessary.
  • Identify sales prospects for development.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Engage with the team day to day and through organised Toolbox talks.
  • Support and coach other team members as necessary.
  • Manage cash and payment systems.
  • Arranging specialist and/or equipment showroom displays

*May be required to carry out additional tasks which are appropriate to the post.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous customer service experience is essential.
  • Working in a Team Leader role experience would be beneficial.
  • Excellent Customer Service: communicate effectively with customers – connect with the customer by being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable – be available to deliver great service – resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
