Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Assisting in the day to day controlling of stock, taking full ownership of designated areas within the business
Investigating product shortages and monitoring trends
Ensuring Bin Locations and labelling are correct and up to date
Dealing with Warehouse transfer queries
Using Stock System to interrogate negative stock, no lines shipped, Incorrect Quantity shipped
Stock Adjustment & Stock Level queries
Ensuring Customer Orders are progressed through the system
Monitoring Housekeeping, damaged stock, and reasons for damages
Working closely with allocated Depots as point of contact
Cycle Count – Issuing, Checking & Investigation
Ensuring counts are completed correctly and a full cycle completed for designated sections within the business
Reconcile and verify all deliveries to invoices
ay be required to carry out addition tasks appropriate to the role.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
Previous Stock control experience required with at least 6 months experience with industrial equipment and materials
Good attention to detail
Good numeric and literacy skills
Good keyboard skills.
Ability to communicate with internal & external customers.
Ability to work on their own and make decisions relevant to the successful outcome and conclusion of the stock control process.
Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change
Forklift experience advantageous but not essential
