Job Overview

We are seeking a Trainee Technician for our Hydraulics Department based in Inverness. The successful Candidate will undertake a training program in our workshop to gain the required skills and knowledge to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • The following responsibilities will be involved, however, on the job training will be provided.
  • Demonstrate the safe use of equipment and machinery in accordance with the company’s health & safety policies.
  • Ensuring than components are available so that jobs can proceed as directed.
  • Provide support to other members of the team as and when required.
  • Maintaining required levels of cleanliness within the workshop.
  • Carry out precision measuring of products following clear set out procedures.
  • Learn hose assembly procedures.
  • Carry out customer sales at Trade Counter
  • Order picking.

Skill & Experience

  • Ability to work within and contribute to a team.
  • Respect other members of staff.
  • Ability to learn new tasks and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
  • Ability to take instruction and work under supervision.
  • Experience with computers and have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
