Team Leader - Portree

We are looking for a dynamic Showroom Team Leader to join our busy Portree Showroom. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, have strong team management skills, and enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you will support the Showroom Manager, oversee stock management, assist with displays, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the manager with team leadership, merchandising, and showroom security.

Oversee showroom operations in the manager’s absence.

Engage with customers to promote and sell products and services.

Maintain high presentation standards across the showroom.

Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any complaints efficiently.

Ensure accurate stock records and price labeling.

Identify sales opportunities and contribute to business growth.

Stay up to date with product knowledge and market trends.

Lead and support team engagement through Toolbox Talks and coaching.

Manage cash handling and payment systems securely.

Organise and maintain specialist and equipment displays.

Skills & Experience

Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is beneficial.

Strong customer service skills – friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive.

Confident in using initiative and making informed decisions.

Excellent people management and communication skills.

Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.

Organised and able to work independently.

Adaptable to new challenges and change.
