Human Resources Assistant


Job description


We are currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate can expect to be a key member of the team responsible for the administration of HR & Training processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Assisting with the recruitment process by advertising roles, inviting applicants to attend interviews, recording applicant information, creating and issuing employment contracts and following up all relevant paperwork

· Administering all contract changes and leaver processes

· Deliver induction programs to new colleagues including issuing essential company equipment such as ID badges, fobs and locker keys for new employees

· Daily use of ADP system to record and maintain employee information, holiday approvals and sickness absence and deal with all ADP queries from employees

· Provide training to new employees on how to use ADP

· Monitor and distribute reports such as absence and holidays

· Supporting internal and external enquires and requests related to the HR department

· Organise formal and informal meetings. Eg. investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals, capability and performance management

· Organise training events related to HR and record attendance on employee records

· Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

· Maintain relationships between HR and all other business departments

· Be aware and comply with GDPR and company policies

*May be required to carry out other tasks related to the role.

Key Skills and Experience

• CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Practices would be advantageous.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.

• Working knowledge of HR systems and best practices.

• Knowledge of ADP HR System would be an advantage.

• Experienced in recruitment processes.

• Impeccable interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritise tasks.

• Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills are required.

• Knowledge of employment legislation and its application would be beneficial.

• Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
