Sales Support / Demonstrator – Forest, Groundcare & Agricultural Equipment
Location: Inverness (with travel to customer sites as required)
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday with 1 in 2 Saturdays on a rota basis
We are looking for a Sales Support / Demonstrator to support our Forest, Groundcare and Agricultural equipment offering, based in Inverness. This is a hands-on role for someone practical, reliable and passionate about machinery and customer service.
About the role
You’ll support both customers and the sales team by delivering, preparing and demonstrating equipment, carrying out pre-delivery inspections and ensuring customers receive a professional, confident handover. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for quality service and technical knowledge.
Key responsibilities
• Delivering and demonstrating equipment to customers
• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and preparing machines for sale
• Providing clear guidance on safe operation and product use
• Supporting sales colleagues with demonstrations and customer enquiries
• Assisting with stock handling, receipting and warehouse organisation
• Supporting machine handovers and resolving customer queries
• Providing operational and holiday cover where required
What we’re looking for
• A practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
• Good customer service skills and confidence dealing with customers
• An interest or background in Forest, Groundcare or Agricultural equipment
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but training will be provided
