Warehouse Operative

Overview

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within a busy and fast paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for working within the warehouse environment to ensure the safe and secure delivery of all orders. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work within and contribute to a team.

• Pick/pack customer and warehouse orders.

• Assist loading company vehicles with orders.

• Receive and verify all deliveries.

• Stock labelling of incoming goods.

• Assist in storing, controlling & security of all stock.

• Warehouse housekeeping.

• Replenish warehouse stock.

• Assist with customer returns.

Skills and Experience

• Forklift trained (desirable but willingness to learn is essential).

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.

• Flexibility to work additional hours when required by the company.

• Good attention to detail.

• Good numeracy & literacy skills.

• Customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.

• Understanding of data accuracy.

• Must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to use own initiative.

• Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
