HR Manager - On site


Job description

We are currently seeking a HR Manager to join our team. The successful candidate can expect their role to be hands-on and will be required to manage the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives. There is a great deal of support work with managers and staff, in addition to providing the senior team with staffing reports and analysis.


  • Manage and support the HR Team through continuous professional development.
  • Provide reports and analysis based on business strategy discussions.
  • Manage complex employee relations case work, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and redundancy.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge by evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and share best practice with them.
  • Update and advise SMT (Senior Management Team) on HR related information in weekly meetings.
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Maintain learning and development policy.
  • Facilitate learning interventions
  • Create learning solutions based on learning and development needs identified
  • Research and recommend new training solutions to key stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships between HR and all other business departments.
  • Drive alignment between HR and business goals.
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  • Support change management processes.
  • Support acquisitions processes and carry out due diligence in connection with TUPE transfers.
  • Monitor staff contract changes.

*May be required to carry out additional tasks which are appropriate to the post.


  • Accredited to CIPD Certificate or Diploma level or Degree in HR.
  • Proven HR generalist experience of a minimum of three years is expected.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills are required together with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
  • Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in developing and supporting businesses through HR and Employment law matters.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy and as part of a team.
  • Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
